HorecaIntel delivers personalised competitive intelligence to restaurant owners — pricing positions, menu gaps, reputation trends, and competitor activity — in a weekly report built for your city, your cuisine, your customers.
We do the research so you can focus on running your restaurant.
Share your menu, location, and cuisine type. We build your competitive landscape from day one.
Our system monitors pricing, menus, reviews, promotions, and openings across delivery platforms and review sites.
Every Monday morning, a concise intelligence report lands in your inbox. Act on it before your competitors do.
Personalised to your restaurant and your competitors, refreshed every week.
See exactly where your prices sit relative to comparable restaurants in your area — by category, by dish type, and versus your direct competitors.
Discover dishes and categories that competitors offer but you don't — and identify where unmet demand exists in your neighbourhood.
Weekly summary of new reviews across Google, Tripadvisor, and delivery platforms — for you and your top competitors. Spot service issues before they become trends.
Promotions launched, new menu items added, hours changed, new openings nearby — we flag everything that could affect your business this week.
This week. This month. On your radar. Not generic advice — concrete moves based on your actual market data, structured the way a consultant would brief you.
Prefer something physical? Your weekly intelligence report, printed and mailed directly to your restaurant. A first in the Belgian market.

Six data sources. A composite rating system designed to give every platform its fair weight. Here's exactly what goes into every report.
Each report draws from six independently verified sources, weighted differently based on reliability and data depth.
Ratings, reviews, hours, and business information. Highest credibility weighting.
Live menu pricing, availability, promotions, and delivery ratings.
Review sentiment, cuisine categories, price range indicators.
Dine-in menus, pricing, specials, and seasonal offers where publicly available.
Reservation availability, booking patterns, and dining experience ratings.
Public mentions, promotional announcements, and engagement from Instagram and Facebook.
We don't average ratings across platforms — that would let Google dominate every calculation. Instead we use Bayesian averaging per platform, log-scaled confidence weighting, and fixed platform credibility weights with a 40% platform influence cap.
A restaurant with 800 Google reviews and 12 Tripadvisor reviews gets a fair composite — not a Google-dominated score.
All data is refreshed weekly. Delivery platform pricing is checked twice weekly. Review data is aggregated weekly. Menu and hours data refreshed every 7–14 days depending on source.
HorecaIntel uses only publicly available data. We do not scrape private data or collect personal information about restaurant staff or customers. Your own data — your menu, your pricing, your performance — is never shared with any third party.
We work with food industry suppliers, distributors, and platforms who want to understand the Belgian restaurant market better.
Understand which cuisines are growing, which price segments are expanding, and where your products have the strongest fit in the Belgian market.
Market density data, cuisine cluster maps, and restaurant activity indicators to optimise your route planning and prospecting.
Restaurant openings, closings, platform adoption rates, and technology usage patterns across Belgian cities.
Data licensing for food industry reporting, trend pieces, and market analysis. Structured, aggregate datasets on the Belgian restaurant market.
Tell us about your organisation and what you're looking for. We'll respond within 2 business days.
HorecaIntel was born out of a frustration that every independent restaurant owner knows: the big chains and delivery platforms have all the data. They know which price points work, which dishes are trending, which competitors are gaining ground. Independent restaurants are flying blind.
We built HorecaIntel to give independent restaurateurs the same intelligence that enterprise chains use — delivered weekly, personalised to your restaurant and your market, at a price that makes sense for an independent business.
Most market intelligence tools are built for analysts, not operators. They're expensive, complex, and require a team to interpret. HorecaIntel reports are written for the person who reads them at 7am before service — clear, actionable, and specific to your business.
We are starting in Belgium, where we have direct domain knowledge. Our founder owns and operates Chandigarh, a vegetarian Indian restaurant in Brussels. Every feature we build is tested against a real restaurant with real competitive pressures.
We are in pilot phase with our founding cohort in Brussels. Antwerp expansion is planned for later in 2026. We will expand to other Belgian cities and eventually European markets — always with the same commitment to independence, accuracy, and operator-first design.
